What Will You Do, Ieyasu?

The jovial hostage of the Imagawa clan, Motoyasu, returns to visit his hometown of Okazaki before he fights to win the hand of the woman he loves, Sena.

After surviving a siege, Motoyasu longs to go home to Sena and his child but joins his army on their return to Mikawa, unaware of the ambush that awaits.

Held up in his hometown of Okazaki, Motoyasu learns he must overthrow the Oda army if he wants to return to Sunpu and reunite with Sena and his child.

Motoyasu goes to Kiyosu Castle to meet with Nobunaga and negotiate a peace treaty. Ujizane tries to punish Sena for her husband's wrongdoings.

Having agreed to slay the Imagawa clan, Motoyasu plans to rescue Sena from Sunpu with the help of notorious crook Honda Masanobu — and a band of ninjas.

When Masanobu's rescue fails, Ujizane threatens to execute Sena. In a final hope, Motoyasu asks Hanzo to capture Imagawa allies for a hostage exchange.

Back with his family, Motoyasu changes his name to Ieyasu and seeks to unite Mikawa, while Sena tries to sneak into the temples of the Ikko sect.

Uprisings flare across Mikawa in protest of the taxes on the Ikko sect. Ieyasu's vassals betray him and leave to join the alliance with the temples.

With the culprit of the Ikko revolt unmasked, Tadayoshi visits Ieyasu to compel him to either trust his vassals — or kill those he is suspicious of.

Sena opens a monastery near Okazaki Castle to give the people a voice. Ieyasu's mother persuades him to take a concubine so he can expand his family.
