It’s the sound that launched a million TikToks: “Chrissy, wake up!”
Eddie Munson’s terrified outburst in the Season 4 premiere of Stranger Things stayed in the public consciousness long after the premiere of Part 1 in May. But it’s far from the only memorable Netflix TV moment from this year.
We don’t know about you, but we can’t even count how many times we watched the most romantic, swoon-inducing line of the year, when Anthony Bridgerton (Jonathan Bailey) told Kate Sharma (Simone Ashley) in Season 2 of Bridgerton, “You are the bane of my existence and the object of all my desires.”

And your friends might’ve gotten tired of you quipping “You look poor” to tease them in the group chat, but the scene where Anna Delvey (Julia Garner) tells reporter Vivian (Anna Chlumsky) what she really thinks about her sartorial choices in Inventing Anna is still funny no matter how many times you revisit it.
That’s why Tudum put together this compilation of the 22 TV and film moments we’ll never forget from 2022. We have scenes that are touching (the sweet young love of Charlie and Nick in Heartstopper), that are so absolutely unbelievable you had to rewatch and text your friend (that Love Is Blind eyedrops moment), that are downright kooky (the Footloose dance-off in The Umbrella Academy Season 3) and that bring you right back to the past (Lindsay Lohan referencing her famous Mean Girls dance scene while singing “Jingle Bell Rock” in her Christmas romance Falling for Christmas).
We even included some more recent standout scenes, like Princess Diana debuting her little black “revenge dress” in Season 5 of The Crown and Jenna Ortega’s now-iconic dance scene in Wednesday. Press play on the video above to revisit those memorable scenes (in chronological order so you can really relive the year), then revisit your favorite ones on Netflix!
