‘Big Mouth’ Makes Its Hormonal Return in a New Trailer

    Yes, Maurice is pregnant.

Starting a family is a big decision; is it really one you want to be making on a spin-off show? Regardless, that’s what hormone monsters Connie (the Emmy winning Maya Rudolph) and Maurice (Nick Kroll) have done. In the last season of Big Mouth spin-off Human Resources, Maurice got knocked up; now, that baby bump is carrying over to Big Mouth Season 6.

That’s right, those lovable (and repulsive) hormone monsters are back, and as usual they’re leaving plenty of chaos in their wake. “I guess shit that happens on Human Resources affects Big Mouth too?!” Connie asks in the trailer, clearly distraught. Better start keeping up. Human Resources zooms in behind the scenes to tell the story of the hormone monsters’ workplace. You never know what might happen there — or how it will affect the puberty-addled middle schoolers of Big Mouth.

Returning to Big Mouth this season alongside Kroll and Rudolph is the whole coterie of angsty teens, including Nick Birch (also Kroll), Andrew Glouberman (John Mulaney), Jay Bilzerian (Jason Mantzoukas) and Missy Foreman-Greenwald (Ayo Edebiri). Bridgeton Middle School (not to be confused with, you know, Bridgerton) is as crowded and confusing as ever. Growing up can be tough, but at least this crew has each other — and their hormone monsters, of course.

Big Mouth Season 6 hits Netflix on Oct. 28. A seventh season (and a second season of Human Resources) is also on the way.
