From private jets to lavish vacations, Leviev built a fake persona as the heir to a luxury diamond company. What is it about Leviev and other con artists that have us so fascinated? Although it wasn’t a cult by definition, some of his followers would follow his lifestyle of barely eating and sleeping — and even submitting to eight grueling weeks of training. At the height of his power, Choudhury berated his students, but allegations of sexual harassment would soon take him down from the throne.

The Puppet Master: Hunting the Ultimate Conman

Robert Hendy-Freegard and Leviev have one thing in common: they’ve claimed to live many lives. In this three-part docuseries, Hendy-Freegard disguises himself as David, an M15 agent. Over two decades, the British con artist isolates his victims to steal money from them. The family of his latest victim, Sarah Clifton, comes forward to share their experience and plead for the safe return of their mother.

Operation Varsity Blues: The College Admissions Scandal

In 2019, social media erupted after finding out that the rich and famous — and beloved celebrities — paid for their kids to get into the country’s top universities. From Lori Loughlin to Felicity Huffman, parents worked with admissions coach Rick Singer to boost their children’s test scores and even Photoshop fake sports pictures. Operation Varsity Blues uses real FBI transcripts to reenact the largest college admissions scandal in history.

This Is a Robbery: The World's Biggest Art Heist

The four-part docuseries takes a deep dive into this daring and notorious 1990 art heist. Dressed as cops, two men make their way into the Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum in Boston and leave with a nine-figure haul, including works from Rembrandt, Vermeer, Manet and Degas.
