The upcoming film from Academy Award-winning director Danny Boyle (Slumdog Millionaire, Steve Jobs) will be coming to select theaters on Dec. 11 before hitting Netflix in the US and Latin America on Jan. 8, 2027. Based on James Graham’s Tony-winning play of the same name, and starring Jack O’Connell, Guy Pearce, and Claire Foy, Boyle’s new film tears open the world of tabloid journalism in electrifying fashion. The film is based on the Tony-winning play by multi-Olivier Award–winning playwright and screenwriter James Graham. The film is an explosive cinematic rollercoaster about a group of visionaries and misfits who had an idea for a new kind of news — one that would give the people what they want and would change the face of the world we live in today.
