No parent is perfect. Even the most devoted mother or father struggles with their children. Normally, those moments are fleeting. But what happens when they aren’t? That’s the question posed by Joshua Zetumer’s new series, Pagans. 

Emmy winner and Academy Award nominee Steven Yeun will star as Gus, the father at the center of the series from Zetumer, the creator of Peabody Award winner Say Nothing. 

Yeun and Zetumer also executive produce the series, alongside Drew Goddard, Sarah Esberg, Jonathan van Tulleken, Erica Kay, and Christina Oh.

Pagans follows a man who becomes the sole caretaker of his two children after the tragic loss of his wife. While his son is typical, his daughter, Alice, is anything but. What starts as a strained father-daughter relationship soon evolves into something far more sinister. Equal parts emotional, horrifying, and humorous, Pagans is a show that unearths all our darkest thoughts about family.
