The Great British Baking Show’s Prue Leith might be known for her penchant for boozy cherries, but it’s her trademark necklaces that prove she’s got fine taste for much more than just baked goodies. She’s been rocking statement necklaces since her debut as a judge in Collection 5, and even wrote a personal essay on the subject entitled “My love of necklaces.”
Let’s get the bauble rolling and revel in the necklaces she’s chosen to flaunt in the competition series, from awesomely arresting to downright zany.

Prue Leith flaunts her tamer side here, with a simple ball and chain.

Prue upgrades her baubles from one to two with this classic black-and-white number. Fun fact: It’s the first necklace she wears in the series. She also owns another version of the necklace in orange.

She probably couldn’t have baked her way out of Mordor with this necklace, but Prue certainly does see all... the mistakes bakers make in technical challenges. She adds some more dimension with this look.

Her modern frosty adds a little pizzazz to the mix, but the ensemble surprisingly wasn’t part of the festive baking show special.

Could Prue’s radio antennae necklace patch production through on a rainy day at the tent? Unclear, but her astute color blocking only enhances the curl-and-ball combo.

Prue also has a penchant for necklaces boasting some creative squiggles.

We’ve gotta give Prue some kudos for not getting stabbed in the neck while wearing this. And also pay homage to her tremendous devotion to confetti cake with this bold look.

We’re glad Paul wore all black here to match his glower, just so Prue’s brightly patterned accessories would stand out more. Cobalt-blue vest, stripes and rainbow loops?! The only things more striking are her cutoff blazer sleeves.

If you need an extra bookmark to hold your place in your recipe book, Prue has a spare she can lend you.

Prue’s aquatic inspiration is loud and clear with this structured black wave necklace.

Prue pays careful attention to detail, as evidenced by her painstaking evaluations of every baker’s desserts. Here, she allows her subtle feathered necklace to shine amidst her splashy top.

What we can gather from Prue’s neckwear: The grander the shape, the better. And this one, featuring a rounded cubist moment, is no exception.

You wouldn’t be wrong to say that Prue’s necklaces light up a room. But you’d be even more correct when she wears her Christmas lights necklace.

It’s a bird. It’s a plane! No, it’s Prue’s necklace that landed just in time to announce this week’s Star Baker.

Prue’s cascading rainbow connection offers hope, joy and a sense of calm before the baking storm.

The bakers can whistle while they work, before a hummingbird lands on Prue’s necklace.

Prue’s necklace would be friends with all the other ladybugs in the garden outside the tent.

Grab one of the rings from Prue’s necklace, and let the Hula-Hooping commence.

You can schedule your appointment with Dr. Leith now. Her orange stethoscope necklace also comes with flash cards in the shape of your organs so you can learn while she checks your heart rate (after noshing on some delicious ciabatta breadsticks).

The oversize beads here are serving “friendship bracelet you make at camp.” Do you think she made one for Paul, too?

This last necklace cements the main theme of the show for us: It’s best to have unbridled optimism, cheer and knowing how to make the most out of a rough go of it in the tent. Prue’s most decadent and, perhaps, heaviest look.
