Even before Squid Game Season 3 began, the global phenomenon kicked off with worldwide celebrations of the epic final season of the series.
To immerse fans more deeply in the world of Squid Game — and more specifically its iconic games — activations in more than 25 countries gave fans the opportunity to play legacy games, encounter Jump Rope for the first time, and, in some instances, play local interpretations of the games in the series.
In the months leading up to the premiere, fans around the world accepted the invitation to step inside the thrilling world of Squid Game once again to participate in immersive, high-stakes fan activations, which wrapped with an epic parade and fan event in Seoul on Saturday, June 28, that hosted more than 38,000 fans. Familiar (and feared) icons of the series — including Young-hee and Pink Guards, among others — marched through the heart of Seoul from Gwanghwamun Square to Seoul Plaza, culminating in a finale fan event with director Hwang Dong-hyuk, stars Lee Jung-jae and Lee Byung-hun, and nearly every cast member from Seasons 1–3 gathered together for one epic celebration!
Over the course of Seasons 2 and 3, there have been fan activations across six continents, overseen by more than 20,000 Pink Guards. Marquee events have drawn over 10 million fans online and 273,000 in person with nearly 93,000 taking part in one-of-a-kind races, mazes, and other games inspired by the series.
While Squid Game is over — see what director Hwang has to say about a possible Season 4 — there are still plenty of ways to participate in the lore of the series. Read on to find out more.

Well, a lot! To be precise, Squid Game Season 3 had an incredible 60 million views in its debut week, meaning that it earned the second most views for a show in its premiere week — second only to Squid Game Season 2 in December 2024, which garnered 68 million views in its first week.
But it’s worth noting that Squid Game Season 3’s 60 million views broke the record for most views for a Netflix show in its first three days alone — Season 2 had four days in its debut week, since it premiered on a Thursday, rather than a Friday.
Not only that, Squid Game Season 3 is ranked No. 1 in all 93 countries tracked — the first time a show has ever done that in a single week — and it broke into the Most Popular list in its first week — now Netflix’s ninth most popular non-English show of all time.
Yes! Events took place all around the world — from Japan to Malaysia, France to Poland, from Brazil to Australia. Check out this article to see everything from the massive parade that traveled through the streets of Seoul on June 28, to the real-life Jump Rope event in Brooklyn’s Domino Park on June 20.
