The airport-set Christmas thriller topped the English films list with 42 million views — the biggest opening for a Netflix film this year, launching into the top 10 in 93 countries.

Meanwhile, newly minted Golden Globe nominee Black Doves held onto No. 1 in its second week on the English TV list, nabbing 14.6 million views and staying in the top 10 in 92 countries.
