It’s about to be a very Netflix summer, and the Tribeca Film Festival is no exception. The annual Manhattan event (co-founded by Robert De Niro and Jane Rosenthal, Oscar-nominated for their work producing The Irishman) gets underway this June 7 and runs through June 18, with world premieres and much more. Included on the schedule are four Netflix premieres — read on for more information, and get your tickets right here.

on Netflix June 23

The Perfect Find

Genre: Rom-com
Logline: After a high-profile firing, Jenna’s fashion career comeback hits a snag when she falls for a charming, much younger co-worker — who happens to be her boss’s son. As sparks fly, Jenna must decide if she’ll risk it all on a secret romance.
Cast: Gabrielle Union, Keith Powers, Aisha Hinds, DB Woodside, Janet Hubert, Alani “La La” Anthony and Gina Torres
Director: Numa Perrier

Maya Kowalski in ‘Take Care of Maya’
on Netflix June 19

Take Care of Maya

Genre: Documentary
Logline: When 10-year-old Maya Kowalski was admitted to Johns Hopkins All Children’s Hospital in 2016, nothing could have prepared her or her family for what they were about to go through. As the medical team tried to understand her rare illness, they began to question the basic truths that bound the Kowalskis together. Suddenly, Maya was in state custody — despite two parents who were desperate to bring their daughter home. The story of the Kowalski family — as told in their own words — will change the way you look at children’s health care forever.
Director: Henry Roosevelt

A scene from ‘Poisoned: The Danger in Our Food’

Poisoned: The Dirty Truth About Your Food

Genre: Documentary
Logline: A shocking indictment of the food industry and its regulators, Poisoned exposes how decades of apathy and malfeasance have left the American food supply and its consumers vulnerable to deadly pathogens like E. coli and salmonella.
Director: Stephanie Soechtig

Rebecca Veeck and Mike Veeck in ‘The Saint of Second Chances’

The Saint of Second Chances

Genre: Documentary
Logline: Mike Veeck grew up in the shadow of his hustler father, Hall of Fame baseball owner Bill Veeck. The Veeck name is both legendary and notorious in professional baseball — they introduced the fun at the ballpark that we now take for granted: giveaways, theme nights, fireworks and more. So when Bill invites Mike along for one last hurrah with the White Sox in 1975, Mike figures this is his chance to prove himself to his dad. But the fun comes to a screeching halt when Mike blows up his father’s career with the ill-fated promotion, Disco Demolition Night. Mike is kicked out of the game he loves and spends the next few decades clawing his way back from rock bottom, determined to redeem himself and carry on the family legacy. Directed by Academy Award winner Morgan Neville (20 Feet From Stardom) and Jeff Malmberg (Marwencol), The Saint of Second Chances is wildly unexpected and full of heart and keeps you laughing through a family redemption story unlike any other.
Directors: Morgan Neville, Jeff Malmberg
