





When a teenager finds a ghost in his attic, he ends up making a new friend. But after news of his paranormal pal gets out, the internet goes wild and everyone wants a piece of him — including a nefarious government agency. Starring Emmy nominee David Harbour and Jahi Winston, We Have a Ghost is a heartfelt horror comedy premiering on Netflix Feb. 24. Read more about the film’s cast below.

Ernest is a friendly ghost once you get to know him, but he doesn’t like a lot of attention. Unable to speak, and with no memory of how he died, he needs the help of teenager Kevin to settle his unfinished business.
Harbour was nominated for both Emmy and Golden Globe awards for his role as Jim Hopper in the sci-fi series Stranger Things. He also starred in Hellboy (2019) and Violent Night.

Upset about moving into a run-down house and feeling misunderstood by everyone — especially his father — Kevin’s feeling all the angst of his teenage years. He finds a real connection in Ernest and wants to do whatever he can to help his ghostly friend move on.
Winston starred in the teen comedy series Everything Sucks! and the drama Charm City Kings. He also appeared in Queen & Slim and Jim Jarmusch’s The Dead Don’t Die.

Kevin’s dad Frank hopes their family can get a fresh start after making some bad investments and is excited to move into their fixer-upper. When he finds out that there’s a bonafide ghost in the house, he sees dollar signs, but his scheming threatens to drive a wedge between him and Kevin.
Mackie is known for portraying the superhero Sam Wilson/Falcon in the Captain America and Avengers movies and starred as the character in the series The Falcon and the Winter Soldier. He also starred in The Woman in the Window and Point Blank.

A washed-up scientist who once headed a CIA program to investigate paranormal activity, Dr. Monroe sees the chance to validate her life’s work when she hears about Ernest. Determined to get him into custody for observation, she doesn’t think about what he might want.
Comedian Notaro received an Emmy nomination and a Grammy nod in 2016 for her stand-up specialTig Notaro: Boyish Girl Interrupted and received her first best comedy album nomination in 2014 for her album Live. She starred in and executive-produced her 2018 stand-up special Tig Notaro: Happy to Be Here, a 2015 documentary about her life called Tig and the semi-autobiographical comedy series One Mississippi.

Judy is a cable TV psychic who finds herself getting a bit more paranormal activity than she bargained for. When Frank invites her to film an episode at the Presleys' newly haunted abode, the fake medium gets an Exorcist-style lesson from Ernest in just how far ghosts can twist, turn and vomit up grotesque appendages.
Coolidge most recently starred on two seasons of The White Lotus, for which she won an Emmy, a Golden Globe, and two Screen Actors Guild Awards (one for her individual performance, and one for the show's ensemble). She's also known for films like Best in Show and Legally Blonde, shows like The Watcher, and many more.
