He’s back! Longtime news anchor Brian Williams returns with a brand-new podcast on Netflix where viewers will see a side of him they’ve never seen before — unscripted, unhurried, and utterly himself.

We’re Back! With Brian Williams finds the familiar voice of decades of television news in conversation with some of the most interesting figures shaping popular culture today — actors, writers, musicians, athletes, journalists, and unexpected newsmakers — in relaxed, wide-ranging exchanges about their work, their lives, and the moment we’re living through.

Says Williams, “With scientists predicting that every American will have a podcast by 2030, I thought it was time to get in the game. After 40 years in the news business, where an in-depth interview gets 4 minutes of airtime at best, I just want to have interesting conversations with creative, funny, smart, talented, and consequential people — like the shows we all grew up watching and listening to. Netflix is the perfect home.”

One of the most highly decorated journalists of his generation, Brian Williams spent 28 years at NBC News, and led the nation’s most-watched newscast. Recently, he anchored Election Night Live on Amazon Prime, a first-of-its-kind global streaming broadcast which earned Williams his 13th Emmy. Over his career, Williams has covered political conventions, presidential elections, wars, conflicts, natural disasters, and major events at home and abroad. He has reported from more than two dozen countries, and has interviewed seven US presidents. Williams has long served as a volunteer firefighter and is an active-duty lieutenant in Ocean County, New Jersey.

The podcast is executive produced by four-time Emmy winner Jonathan Wald, who previously worked with Williams at NBC News and went on to oversee Election Night Live with Brian Williams. It is produced by AT WILL MEDIA; Will Malnati and Ashley Taylor will serve as EP’s for AT WILL alongside Jonathan Wald.
