In this featurette shot on the set of the drama thriller iHostage, director Bobby Boermans discusses filming the movie based on a true story. “We needed to re-create the entire store, plus seven meters of sidewalk outside on the square, along with the surrounding LED screens,” Boermans tells Netflix. “No studio in the Netherlands was big enough … We ended up in Katwijk [in South Holland], in an old airplane hangar.”
