She soon deduced that magic wish upon her had bestowed
An alternate reality where Paul was her betrothed

While certain that to this new perfect life she’d soon adjust
She had a chance encounter with the stranger from the bus
The wedding was approaching, the plans were all in place 
And Maddie had that feeling she no longer had to chase
But suddenly here James was with his camera and his car 
While Paul seemed more concerned with generating good PR
