Itxaso and the Sea

Itxaso, 17, lives in Mexico. When her mother dies, she moves to a seaside town in the Basque Country with her father, Mikel, who runs a surf school.

Used to being in the big city, life in Donibane isn't easy for Itxaso, though she's making friends. Meanwhile, Mikel tries to fix his money woes.

Itxaso gets mad at her father and messes up with Abdul. Peio and Mikel argue about the school. Ane wants to go back to research, but it's not easy.

Peio and Aintzane offer to look for investors and train surfers for a championship. Itxaso finds out where Abdul lives. Ane gets a new job.

Itxaso's and Mikel's relationship improves, and she learns to surf. Urko wants to go to an exhibition. Nekane gets worse and Ane makes things work.

Itxaso visits the Iparralde surf show with Mikel and Urko. She and Urko get close, Peio gets manipulative, and Ane frets over her ex's Australia trip.

Peio manages to rope Urko into his murky dealings. Itxaso and Mikel are worried, Abdul has disappeared, and Ane wants to stop her son from leaving.

Urko competes in the Donibane Surf Cup thanks to Mikel's sacrifice, and his watery duel with Hugo promises to be intense. Itxaso faces a major decision.
