Alexandra Jarvis Puts Her ‘Selling the OC’ Water Sommelier Skills to the Test

Did you know water can be medium-bodied?

Selling the OC stars aren’t afraid to surprise fans, whether it’s skinny dipping at sunset or giving surprise noseys, but few Selling the OC fun facts stand out more than Alexandra Jarvis’ unexpected dedication to water. As she tells co-star and real estate partner Alexandra Rose during Season 1, “I love water. I think I was a water sommelier in another life.” The Oppenheim Group agent has even put her money where her mouth is, revealing she dropped $6,000 on a water machine that creates the optimal thirst-quenching gulp.

So, Tudum put her H2O knowledge to the test. Alexandra was asked to try six mystery waters, which ranged from the ordinary to the extravagant (hello to Ophora’s $168 nano-purified luxury). “That one’s not too bad... It’s kind of medium-bodied,” she remarked about one offering. Yes, to some, water can taste medium-bodied, just like a fine vino. Move over, merlot.

Other waters, however, did not get quite the same positive review. “Oh, I do not like that! It tastes like plastic,” Alexandra complained about a, ahem, certain popular water.

Watch the video to find out which water offended Alexandra’s refined palate — and which supermarket staple got an elusive gold star. The answers will definitely make your jaw drop. Which makes it all the easier to get your sip on.
