The high art that is Cliff Beasts 6, the (fictional) film the actors are making while they quarantine together in The Bubble, doesn’t just come together on its own. The sixth installment in the blockbuster franchise sees the beloved characters head to Mount Everest to fight the titular dinosaurs, and this featurette explains how the cinematic masterpiece was formed.
The Bubble follows a group of actors quarantining as they prepare to film the latest entry in their big-budget action movie franchise — which, if you’ve seen the film, doesn’t exactly turn out as everyone planned.
In this featurette, the stars of the faux movie tell you everything you wanted to know about Cliff Beasts 6, including what cliff beasts are: “these big scary dinosaurs that won’t die, even though we blow them up like five times,” says Lauren (Leslie Mann). And according to Sean (Keegan-Michael Key), who introduces us to the titular cliff, “This is what it’s all about, folks. It’s in every movie.”
Dieter (Pedro Pascal) elucidates further: “I have no idea what it’s about, but there are cliffs and there are beasts — for the sixth time.”
Here, check out the featurette that takes us behind the scenes of Cliff Beasts 6: The Battle for Everest: Memories of a Requiem, a movie that includes scintillating action dialogue like “Let’s do this” and “Light the sky on fire!”
