Season 1 of The Hunting Wives was just foreplay, y’all. The second chapter, which debuts on Netflix this Nov. 26 — yes, on Thanksgiving — is upping the ante when it comes to no-holds-barred chaos, conspiracies, and — of course — climaxes. Get ready to feast on another spicy season.

Newly released first-look photos reveal that the temperature is heating up in our beloved Maple Brook, Texas. The passion between Sophie (Brittany Snow) and Margo (Malin Akerman) has grown even more electric. Jed Banks (Dermot Mulroney) is running for governor. And Deputy Salazar (Karen Rodriguez) is hot on the trail of another big case.

There are also a few new faces in the mix, including:

The sneak peek pictures offer up more questions than answers. Why is Callie (Jaime Ray Newman) cozying up so closely to new character Nadia? Why is John Stamos rocking country chic getup? What is going on at the sheriff’s office that has Salazar so concerned? We also spot a worried Sophie standing by her car, which is the very same vehicle that she made, um, a big impact with at the end of the prior season. Also, Graham (Evan Jonigkeit) has grown a mustache. Clearly, all is not right in Maple Brook.

For those catching up, The Hunting Wives follows Sophie, an East Coast transplant in deep East Texas. After succumbing to the charms of socialite Margo, her life is soon consumed by obsession, seduction, and murder. You can get a full, spoiler-filled breakdown of the first season here.

When we’re reunited with the pair in Season 2, Sophie and Margo are on the outs. But soon enough, old secrets and new foes force them back together. As they play their dangerous games, the question arises: Are they the hunters, or the hunted?
Akerman shared her joy about returning to the Lone Star State late last year, taking to Instagram to post a selfie with Snow and Newman. “Hold on to your wigs…we have officially started shooting season 2!!!” she captioned the picture. “And y’all are not gonna be disappointed.”

While we wait for the next season to drop, be sure to relive all the wild drama, accents, wigs, and well-manicured murders. As the theme song correctly states, these gals just want to have a good time.
