Matchmaker Sima Taparia has returned, biodatas in hand, to help a spectrum of clients get serious about finding love. Indian Matchmaking Season 2 features some fan favorite cast members from Season 1 (meaning they’re still single, unfortunately), as well as brand-new faces in their quest for a lifelong partner. 

Season 1, which premiered in July 2020, follows Mumbai’s top matchmaker Sima (or as she says, “Sima from Mumbai”) as she uses a combination of modern matchmaking techniques and traditional Indian practices, like astrological matching, to help her clients. Full of awkward first dates in unlikely locations (including a furniture store) and intimate fairy-tale wedding proposals, this season takes viewers from North Carolina to Nashik as the relationship hopefuls meet potential partners carefully chosen for them by Sima Aunty herself.

Sima Taparia

Master matchmaker Sima is back to help her clients find love through advice, encouragement or a healthy reality check. As always, Sima Aunty will be the first to tell you that compromise is key (and Taco Bell is delicious).

Nadia 

Nadia is still seeing a match setup by Sima from Season 1, but she wishes he would make bolder moves to push their connection forward. So she decides to stay open and continue her search for love, both with and without the help of Sima.

Aparna

Pradhyuman

Pradhyuman met over 150 potential matches before he found the one, all on his own. His new girlfriend Ashima is taking a peek into his lifestyle and getting to know his friends and family.

Akshay is an eligible bachelor nearing 40 who has trouble getting dates because he lives in a small agricultural town far from a big city. Above all else, he’s very invested in his family business of poultry farming.

Viral

Viral is successful, independent and confident. She’s not looking for her other half, but a true partnership, and has a long list of criteria for Sima to work with.
