Unhappily married, an upper-class woman falls for a worker on her husband’s country estate in this new romantic drama based on the novel by D.H. Lawrence. Lady Chatterley’s Lover stars Jack O’Connell and Golden Globe winner Emma Corrin and premieres on Netflix Dec. 2.

Corrin plays Connie, a free-spirited Londoner who’s initially excited about her marriage to Clifford Chatterley. But after he returns injured from World War I and they move out to his country estate, she feels more like his caretaker than his wife. Isolated and depressed, she finds comfort and romance in an affair with the gamekeeper, Oliver Mellors.
Corrin won a Golden Globe and was nominated for an Emmy for their role as Princess Diana in Season 4 of The Crown. They also appeared in My Policeman and Pennyworth.

O’Connell plays Oliver, Clifford’s gamekeeper, who rose up the army ranks to become an officer during the war but prefers a quiet life in the countryside. Humbly performing his duties, he doesn’t expect that he would draw the lady of the manor’s attention. While his and Connie’s passion grows, Oliver remains keenly aware of his precarious station in life.
O’Connell can be seen in SAS Rogue Heroes, Godless and Unbroken.

Duckett plays Clifford, a British nobleman left paralyzed below the waist after the war. Expecting his wife, Connie, to care for him exclusively, he’s oblivious to her needs and doesn’t think the lack of romance in their marriage is an issue.
Duckett appeared in A Confession and Doctors.

Richardson plays Mrs. Bolton, a widow who later comes in to relieve Connie and take care of Clifford. Kind and patient, she attends to him without complaint. As she gets to know Connie, she begins to feel sympathy for her.
Richardson can be seen in The Sandman, The Tudors and Nip/Tuck.

Marsay plays Hilda, Connie’s outspoken and protective sister, who intervenes when she finds out how unhappy Connie has been looking after Clifford. While she isn’t fond of Clifford, she worries that Connie’s affair with Oliver may only make things worse.
Marsay can be seen in Andor, Game of Thrones and Black Mirror.
