If you’ve pondered various what-if scenarios and alternate outcomes for your favorite characters, check out the below clip from the cutting room floor, featuring a sweet moment between Marinette (Cristina Valenzuela) and Adrien (Bryce Papenbrook) — and a not-so-sweet showdown between Marinette and Chloé (Selah Victor). Eagle-eyed viewers will recognize the shot of Adrien looking down at his locket as a reference to a discarded plot involving Émilie Agreste (Colleen O’Shaughnessey) and Gabriel (Keith Silverstein) — that storyline was later changed.

(Could a box of fancy macarons possibly make it all better?) Not only do you get to spend a little more morning time with Ladybug’s alter ego, the clip delivers an inside look at the various stages of animation used in the series.
