That’s made clear by Netflix’s top 10 most popular movies of all time, the rankings of which are based on total global views in their first 91 days on the service. If you haven’t yet watched these films, catch up with the rest of the world and add these to your queue.

Angela Bassett and Robin Wright are featured in the 2024 action film, which collected 138 million views.

Based on Mark Greaney’s book series, this action flick stars Ryan Gosling as the titular CIA operative who accidentally uncovers dark agency secrets, and therefore becomes the target of a global manhunt. Chris Evans plays the assassin determined to track him down, and Ana de Armas, Regé-Jean Page, Alfre Woodard, and Billy Bob Thornton are among the cast. The 2022 movie, directed by Joe and Anthony Russo (The Electric State), accrued 139.3 million views.

Leave the World Behind

Talk about a vacation gone wrong. Julia Roberts and Ethan Hawke play parents who travel with their kids to a rental home for a family getaway, only to find themselves trapped in a peculiar blackout alongside the property’s owner. Mahershala Ali, Kevin Bacon, and Myha'la are in the cast of the apocalyptic psychological thriller, based on Rumaan Alam’s novel of the same name. The 2021 release amassed 143.4 million views.

Back in Action

After co-starring in Any Given Sunday and AnnieCameron Diaz and Jamie Foxx reunite to play CIA agents who have retired to pursue parenthood in suburbia. But when their cover is blown, they are dragged back into the world of espionage — this time, with their two kids in tow. The 2025 action comedy — which also stars Kyle Chandler, Glenn Close, and Andrew Scott — drew 147.2 million views.

Bird Box

A mysterious contagion that causes people to commit suicide? Sandra Bullock leads this apocalyptic thriller as a mother who learns that the epidemic of death is spurred by a specific sight, and blindfolds herself and her family for survival’s sake. Directed by Susanne Bier (The Perfect Couple), the horror title also stars Sarah Paulson, Trevante Rhodes, Rosa Salazar, BD Wong, and John Malkovich. Audiences had plenty of eyes on this 2018 movie, which racked up 157.4 million views.

The Adam Project

Sometimes, the only person who can help you through a tough time is you. This sci-fi adventure stars Reynolds as a time-traveling fighter pilot who accidentally crash-lands in 2022, and must try to save the future world from the negative effects of time travel with the help of his 12-year-old self. Directed by Shawn Levy (Stranger Things), the 2022 family drama features Mark Ruffalo, Jennifer Garner, Catherine Keener, Zoe Saldaña, and Walker Scobell, and earned 157.6 million views.

Don't Look Up

Leonardo DiCaprio is ringing the alarm, but no one seems to be listening. In this black comedy, DiCaprio and Jennifer Lawrence play astronomers who embark on a media tour to warn humankind of a fatal comet headed toward Earth. The 2021 political satire — which includes Jonah Hill, Meryl Streep, Cate Blanchett, Mark Rylance, Tyler Perry, Timothée Chalamet, and Ariana Grande in the cast — collected 171.4 million views.

Carry-On

Navigating any airport during the holidays is already stressful, and this high-stakes thriller takes it one step further. Taron Egerton plays a TSA agent who is blackmailed by a mysterious traveler, forcing him to allow a dangerous package onto a Christmas Eve flight. Jason Bateman plays the movie’s villain, with Sofia Carson, Danielle Deadwyler, and Dean Norris also in the cast. The 2024 action flick garnered 172.1 million views.

Red Notice

This heist thriller stars Ryan Reynolds as the world’s most wanted art thief, and Dwayne Johnson as the FBI agent assigned to pursue him. However, the two enemies reluctantly team up to defeat an elusive criminal mastermind — The Bishop, played by Gal Gadot. The 2021 crime flick, which includes a cameo by Ed Sheeran and a number of Easter Eggs for film lovers, accumulated 230.9 million views.

KPop Demon Hunters

No. 1
The animated film follows Rumi, Mira, and Zoey — members of the superstar girl group HUNTR/X who sell out stadiums and secretly hunt down demons. Their latest enemy, a charming boy band of demons in disguise, threatens to take down the barrier they’ve built to protect the world from supernatural forces. The 2025 movie — and its catchy original songs — went up, up, up to the top of the list, earning 325.1 million views.
