Shane Gillis’s Comedy Series Tires Gets Renewed for Season 3

Seasons 1 and 2 are streaming now.

    July 1, 2025

When Tires screeched onto Netflix in the spring of 2024, the sitcom — created by comedians Shane Gillis, John McKeever, and Steve Gerben — quickly earned a second season renewal. Season 2 is now streaming on Netflix — head to Netflix to watch for yourself or take a peek inside the garage with some photos below to see  big-name guest stars like Vince Vaughn, Thomas Haden Church, and Jon Lovitz. Now, Tires has been renewed for a third season.

Gillis, who sold out two performances during Netflix is a Joke Fest in May 2024 and will debut a new Netflix stand-up special this year, not only stars in the comedy series, but also serves as executive producer and co-creator.

While fans might be used to seeing Gillis behind a mic — his first Netflix comedy special, Beautiful Dogs, premiered in 2023 — the fictional Tires moves him off the stage and into the world of a bustling auto repair chain. Keep reading to learn everything you want to know about the series ahead of Season 3.
