Attention, Pogues: Your favorite North Carolina teens are returning for more treasure hunting, attempted murder, and paralyzing bee stings. Outer Banks Season 3 will premiere on Netflix in 2023.
The cast debuted the news at Tudum: A Netflix Global Fan Event after a video tribute to their devoted fans (the real treasure? “Our fans’ hearts,” says Rudy Pankow, aka troublemaking JJ). With five distinct celebrations, Tudum includes first-look photos, never-before-seen footage, new trailers, behind-the-scenes access, celebrity appearances, interviews, and more from over 100 of your favorite series, films and specials.

The Pogues also debuted a very sunny teaser of Season 3. The clip features stunning footage of island beaches with a voiceover from our hero John B (Chase Stokes) saying, “Pops always said nothing good comes easy; nothing worthy is given. The question is what are you willing to do to win? How far will you go to get your treasure?”
The second season finale finds the Pogues holding court on an abandoned island in the Caribbean — now dubbed “Poguelandia” — while dodging the villainous Ward Cameron (Charles Esten), who once again has snatched treasure from underneath the teens’ noses. But there’s also a game-changing revelation that will shake up everything for the upcoming third season: Big John, aka John B’s dad, is actually alive.
Stay tuned for more near-death escapes when Outer Banks returns in 2023.
