When an insomniac home shopping network host heads to a tiny village to make a business deal that will catapult her to success, she finds herself repeatedly clashing with a secretive farmer who’s obsessed with perfection. As the odd couple meet at all hours of the day and night (shout-out to irregular circadian rhythms), their initial tension evolves into a dreamy but complicated romance thanks to hidden agendas on all sides. Directed by Ahn Jong-yeon (Seoul Busters), the 12-episode series Sold Out on You stars Ahn Hyo-seop, known for his role as the voice of Jinu in KPop Demon Hunters, and Chae Won-been.

The series debuts April 22 with two episodes dropping weekly.
Dam Ye-jin (Chae) is a rising star at HIT Homeshopping. The charming TV host frequently sells out the products she features, often sacrificing her sleep and well-being to be the best. With 1 trillion won in sales under her belt, she’s up for a major promotion at work, which will allow her to headline a prime weekend broadcast spot. There’s just one catch: to secure the weekend show, she needs to convince the owner of a raw cosmetic materials company to re-sign their contract with HIT, which would grant the network exclusive rights to sell their miracle skincare product.
Determined to come out on top, Ye-jin heads to Deokpung Village, the only place in Korea where the white-flowered uri mushroom — a key ingredient in the viral face cream — is grown. While tracking down the elusive owner of the company, she runs into Matthew Lee (Ahn), the obstinate farmer who cultivates the mushrooms with a keen eye for detail that Ye-jin appreciates. While she hopes that Matthew will help her locate his boss, he’s annoyed with the constant interruptions to his workday and gives her the runaround. But when he realizes that Ye-jin is the only person he’s ever met that works as hard as he does, Matthew’s annoyance slowly turns into respect — and then some.
