Too Hot to Handle proposes an alternative to your standard dating show fare: Find singles who are obsessed with casual hookups, and teach them how to make real, lasting emotional connections. Oh, and charge them $$ each time they can’t help but get handsy.
Nearly three years after Too Hot to Handle first aired on Netflix, the cast may not necessarily be dating each other. That doesn’t mean, however, that they didn’t learn valuable lessons about love from their handy AI minder Lana — and each other. Find out what the cast of THTH Season 1 are up to now (some may or may not be appearing in the dating series Perfect Match) and whether they’ve managed to find relationship success.
🤐 SPOILER ALERT 🤐

…but couldn’t make it work long-term. Season 1’s most high-profile romance between Francesca Farago and Harry Jowsey came to a tumultuous end after an on-again, off-again relationship that ended first in mid-2020 and then again, for good, a year later.
Both were outspoken about how being in the public eye put extra pressure on their relationship — and Harry, now single but “on the scene,” says he’s taking that insight into future dating experiences. (Though, after things ended between him and Francesca, he dated a slew of influencers and socialites, including Stassie Karanikolaou, Larsa Pippen, Charly Jordan, and THTH single Madison Wyborny.) “My rule of thumb from here on out is keep it private until it’s rock solid,” he tells Tudum. “If things get brought out to the public before they are rock solid, it plants seeds of doubt and starts the relationship off on the wrong foot, which is unfair [to] everyone.” He ultimately recognizes the power of deep romantic connection: “The greatest gift is [learning] that there’s no better feeling than love, and to hold onto that as much as possible.”
For her part, Francesca followed up her breakup with Harry with more public relationship drama around her breakup with fellow reality TV star Demi Sims. As of 2022, however, she’s settled into family life with her current partner Jesse Sullivan, his child and their pet cat. She also runs her own business, a vegan and cruelty-free swimsuit line called Farago the Label.
She’s thought deeply about her time on the show and her relationship with Harry: “I regret letting myself get involved so deeply and falling so in love,” Francesca says. “But I’m so happy it happened. It allowed me to know exactly what I wanted and needed out of a future partner and know exactly how I needed to be treated.” She also says her experience on the show ended up helping her grow as a person. “I’m more level-headed and more calm now. I don’t let other people’s actions affect me. I learned that I deserve a love that is amazing and pure and honest.”
This isn't the last you'll see of Francesca, though. She made an appearance alongside Damian Powers in Love is Blind: After the Altar Season 1 and stars in Perfect Match, the dating show that combines Netflix reality stars together in order to find The One.

Chloe Veitch emerges single from the THTH villa, but she isn’t empty-handed. In addition to winning part of the prize pot, she builds friendships with people like Nicole O’Brien while also managing not to take herself so seriously when love doesn’t quite go her way.
The English model currently lives in Los Angeles and has earned more fame after winning fan favorite on The Circle in 2021. (“Even though they are two completely different shows…I still managed to fall for someone!” she admits.) Along with Francesca, she also appears in Perfect Match. Offscreen, she’s single and loving it, telling Tudum she’s having the time of her life dating Americans instead of her normal type: “geezers.”
“I am more cautious with my dating,” she says. “Ah, who am I kidding, I still love men. And now with all these followers I’m swamped with date appointments!” She says she has learned about her own self-worth, and she’ll no longer settle for just any man (regardless how attractive he may be). Her big THTH takeaway? “Protect that yoni!”
Ah, a romance thwarted by COVID-19. Bryce Hirschberg and Nicole O’Brien began dating after THTH finished filming in 2019, but announced their breakup in May 2020, citing long-distance difficulties amid quarantine.
Bryce is now seriously dating a woman named Becca, who he describes as “beautiful, smart, caring, giving — and she’s my biggest supporter.” Reflecting on THTH, the producer and musician is grateful for the chance to work on his self-confidence — Lana “allowed me to love myself first, so I could now give my love to another.” His big regret? Not updating his song catalog to his current selection of hits. “[The] music is much better now,” he says.
Villa sweetheart Nicole doesn’t end up with Bryce, but she’s still on the lookout for a man who will treat her right. “Is a nice, tall, funny, spontaneous, 10/10, too much to ask for?!” she says. “Fingers crossed for 2023, guys….”
According to Nicole, her time on the show taught her how to rethink her approach to dating and be more open. While she used to love a fling, she’s now ready to settle down and take men more seriously. “Lana is the GOAT and has taught me I need to stop going for these fuckboys. I’m still trying, Lana, I promise!”

Rhonda and Sharron became the most beloved couple on Too Hot to Handle, as both prioritized self-love, internal growth, and mutual trust while slowly building their relationship. Alas, it wasn’t meant to be; the two split in summer 2019, though they’ve remained friends.
However, both are fully living lifein their own right. Rhonda is now a model, entrepreneur and proud mom, and she manages a restaurant in Georgia. Sharron continues to work as a model and influencer.
British gentleman David struggles to make a real romantic connection during THTH Season 1, but he doesn’t leave the show totally unlucky; he forms a friendship with Sharron, initially his rival, and also finds some attraction with latecomer Lydia Clyma, who he dated for a bit following the end of Too Hot to Handle.
Lydia and David slowly build their connection in the final couple episodes of the show, and it seemed like it could be heading for romantic waters… but the pair decided friendship was the better option.
David has continued his fitness influencer journey post-show, and he frequently posts coaching and food advice on Instagram — sometimes with his current girlfriend, Dr. Hazel Wallace, a nutritionist and author who recently joked about what having him as a personal trainer does for their relationship. David’s also still a reality TV star, appearing on Channel 4’s The Love Trap and BBC Three’s Eating with My Ex.
Lydia, meanwhile, is an influencer and mental health crisis practitioner, and works with a mental health charity in the UK. She’s also an avid theatergoer and West End fanatic. Though she’s currently single, she says THTH has changed her dating habits for the better. “Definitely made me realize not to settle for less… If it’s not a solid yes, then it’s a no,” she says. “THTH made me realize that I do actually want to find genuine love, rather than just date for fun, or looks. I’ve since learnt not to ignore red flags, and to be open about how I think and how I feel!”

Known for his clear-eyed focus on saving money in THTH, Kelechi “Kelz” Dyke isn’t an accountant IRL; he is, however, still an athlete who has parlayed his post-show notoriety into brand partnerships, modeling and fitness coaching — and competing on shows like The Challenge. (Remember when he innocently asked Francesca about social media influencing?)
He now works with brands like Boohoo and Indeed UK, and he also posts missives about life and love. A recent lessons-learned ’gram explored five things he’s taking into new relationships, including “friendship first,” “handle with care,” and “communication is key.” Lana’s impact is real.
Madison Wyborny doesn’t seem too hurt to leave the Too Hot to Handle villa in the finale. Following the show, she’s continued to model and branch out into acting — and also reportedly dated Harry in between his on-again-off-again relationship with Francesca. But she and Francesca must have cleared the air; in the past year, she modeled swimsuits for Francesca’s line, Farago the Label, and the two frequently exchange friendly comments on Instagram. More recently, she’s been jet setting around Europe this year, posting from Spain, Italy and Paris in what she called a “world tour of a life.”

Fellow grenade Kori Sampson also exits the villa in the finale. But he’s discovered love in the aftermath with model Emily Hughes. The pair often share photos of each other on social media, and Kori recently wished her a happy birthday and referred to her as “my love.”
Work-wise, Kori has broadened his fitness journey as a popular coach on Instagram, model and boxer. On the reality TV front, he’s appeared on Eating With My Ex and MTV’s Celebrity Ex on the Beach following his time on THTH. He’s an ambassador for UK charity Centrepoint, too, an organization that works to support unhoused youth.
Christ-like figure Matthew Smith doesn’t find much in the realm of romantic connections on the show. Finally, he chooses to leave, wanting the contestants to make their own decisions, for better or for worse.
He’s continued to model and act in the wake of Too Hot to Handle. More importantly, he runs a couples TikTok with his current partner — a speaker and athlete — Kristie Sita, tagged “two best friends in love.” They post travel diaries and romantic montages of dancing in the rain, as well as funny trends and couples commentary.
Oh, Haley. Every reality show needs a chaotic energy, and Haley Cureton is it on THTH Season 1. She becomes a ride-or-die pal for Francesca, and the pair jump at the chance to hatch a revenge plot on the houseguests, covertly kissing in the changing room and hoping to avert attention from Frarry. It doesn’t quite work — ultimately, Haley is kicked out of the house in Episode 5 because of her negative attitude. Her particular brand of havoc is missed.
Drama has continued to follow her in the years since; in 2021, she publicly ended her friendship with Francesca in a series of Instagram stories.
Things seem to have quieted as of late. Haley mainly posts Fashion Nova influencer content on Instagram, though she recently admitted, “I never know what to post on here anymore🥲” Find her instead on Twitch and TikTok, where she posts “Get Ready With Me” videos.
