Wednesday is welcoming some fresh blood into Nevermore Academy. Lena Headey (Game of Thrones, The Abandons), Andrew McCarthy (St. Elmo’s Fire, Brats), and James Lance (Ted Lasso) will all be guest-starring in the upcoming third season of the series, which is currently in production near Dublin.
The trio joins an already ruthless roster of newcomers, including Winona Ryder (Beetlejuice Beetlejuice, Stranger Things), Chris Sarandon (Dog Day Afternoon, The Princess Bride), Noah Taylor (Peaky Blinders, Game of Thrones), Oscar Morgan (A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms, Gotham Knights), and Kennedy Moyer (Task, Roofman).
More information about their roles is staying buried for now, but showrunners Al Gough and Miles Millar previously whispered to Tudum, “This season, we welcome new students, new teachers, and excavate some long-rotting Addams Family secrets. Don’t say you weren’t warned.”

Surely, many of those secrets will swarm around Ophelia Frump, the allegedly missing sister of Morticia Addams (Catherine Zeta-Jones) and aunt of Wednesday Addams (Jenna Ortega), who will be played by Eva Green (Miss Peregrine’s Home for Peculiar Children, Dark Shadows). Green, along with other new cast members, will be collaborating once again with executive producer and director Tim Burton, who said, “I’m so excited to be back for Season 3, and it’s great to be reunited with all of the original cast. The addition of some dear friends and past collaborators of mine — Winona, Eva, Chris, and Noah — makes this season extra special. I feel very lucky.”
Last, but certainly still lethal, here are the survivors from previous seasons who insist on sticking around:
